Black and white photography is a large part of my signature style and body of work. It is, I hope, a good part of the reason you decide to choose me as your photographer.
But while most of my work is in black and white, I also shoot in colour.
In fact, any photo session regardless of the type starts in colour and is only converted to black and white during post-processing.
This means that colour photos are always an option. The choice is always yours to make.
The reality is that the majority of clients will get a mix of both colour and black and white photos. In some cases one of each.
Often it depends on the type of session. In documentary family photography, black and white photos tend to be a very popular choice. For portrait photography, colour is most often preferred.
In the end, the choice is yours and I am happy to discuss the options with you before the start of any job.
